Exfoliating Coffee Scrub

May 29, 2006

5th Avenue Bath Co.: Exfoliating Coffee Scrub

Exfoliating Coffee Scrub, by 5th Avenue Bath Co.: "Pamper the coffee lover in your life with this caffeine infused inspiration. Our invigorating Coffee Body Scrub captures luxurious spa quality products with a unique blend of fresh columbian ground coffee and brown sugar."

I was very anxious to try this product. What better way to wake up in the shower than with the aroma of fresh ground coffee right there with you!

My experience with scrubs has been less than satisfying. Most I've tried over the past few years have been incredibly oily and several caused major wipe-outs in the shower. Not my idea of a good time. So, with trepidation I opened the lid and leaned in for a peek.

Pow! You're hit immediately with the heavenly aroma of coffee. It's really in your face - in a good way. Put it this way... you won't be sleepy after a whiff of this stuff. The scrub is drier than others I've tried in the past and this is definitely a Good Thing. Half-way through the shower, I felt as I though I was swimming in a giant pot of mocha. The heady fragrance of coffee was swirling about the entire enclosure and it left me anything but tired. (and craving a cup of mocha like you wouldn't believe!)

Once dried and dressed, your skin will be left soft and silky with the slight smoky odor of coffee lingering for a bit. If you're not a big fan of the coffee aroma, you're not going to like this scrub. I loved it!

This does leave a bit of a mess in the shower but it's nothing a few extra moments of sloshing water around won't clean up. The minimal extra effort is definitely worth it though as this scrub is well worth the time.

Exfoliating Coffee Scrub is available in a 12 and 16 ounce sizes and retails for $19.99 and $23.99.

Please fill out the form here with as much information as possible so we can make an educated decision about whether or not to review it.

Please note: due to the volume of suggestions received, we cannot possibly review every product. The product manufacturer is responsible for providing a full-size example of the product and the shipping costs associated with sending the product to us.

Thanks to the foolishness of those who have nothing better to do with their time than to submit the form that was here over and over again with utter dribble and websites that only serve to part one from their hard-earned cash, I've disabled the form.

If you'd like to contact me to suggest a product, please do so by leaving a comment. This is set so I must approve all comments before they are posted and once I've received your contact and product info, I'll delete the comment you've left.

The majority of the products I'll be reviewing are items I've purchased and am in love with with - however, I do accept product submissions. I'm just one person so I need help discovering new and exciting products to add to my ever-evolving must-have list.

If you would like to submit one of your own products for review, please use the suggest a product link and fill out the form found there. You can suggest one of your own products or a product belonging to another person. Not every product suggested (or sent in) will be reviewed. This site is for products I love - if you send me a product I'm not crazy about, I won't review it. Others may love it and my opinion is just one opinion - this blog is not about bad press. Who are you?
Good question. bathdelicious is a wholly owned subsidiary of RedLime Web Development. RedLime has been developing websites for soapmakers and handcrafted toiletry makers for nearly 6 years. We're always looking for ways to help promote this craft and the extremely talented artisans within it.

Ok, so you do websites for soapmakers. Why are you doing this? Is it about the free stuff?
Not in the least. As the founder of RedLime and creator of bathdelicious, I have an absolute passion for all things soap and bath related. Through the years, via my own clients as well as others in the field, I have run into a staggering number of folks who are creating what could be realistically titled "the Next Big Thing." Many of these products never get the limelight they so fully deserve and so I've decided to do my part to help get the word out there. bathdelicious is the result of this vision and dream.

What is the fee?
There is no fee for this. There is no cost to you to have your product reviewed.

What kind of products do you review?
Well, as the site states, I review bath and body products. There are too many items that fall into this broad category to list. Suffice to say, if you bathe with it or use it somewhere on your body, it's probably open for review.

What about advertising?
If you are interested in banner advertising, please contact me for more information. I'll get back to you with rates and other information.
